How do you know it is organic?
Most coffee growers in Papua New Guinea grow their coffee on small land
plots. They are generally called subsistence farmers, meaning growing enough to
eat and sell to support the family.
Because of the this, farmers simply cannot afford to buy pesticides and
therefore all coffee coming out of Papua New Guinea is organic, also tea grown
in PNG is organic. There are a number of bodies that certify coffee as being
organic and this is marked on the packets.
Where is organic PNG Coffee grown?
Organic coffee in Papua New Guinea is grown in the highlands, on small coffee
growing farms. The Eastern Highlands Province, Simbu Province, Western Highlands
Province, Enga Province and the Southern Highlands Province all product export

How is organic coffee collected in PNG?
Organic coffee is usually collected by farmers, who in turn dry the coffee
beans and sell them to coffee buyers. These in turn usually roast the coffee,
