We are a Papua New Guinea (PNG) owned and based company specialising in promoting PNG arts and culture to the world

PNG has many diverse tribal cultures, which in turn manifest themselves with their unique arts such as carvings, billums, tapestry, music and clothing and of course languages

Arts of PNG is based in Madang, Madang Province of Papua New Guinea.  The country is rugged and inaccessible therefore we mainly stock and distribute artifacts from Madang Province, the Sepik and PNG highlands

As an ethical trader we do not sell, ship nor aid in the procurement of antiques, products made from endangered species, substances that may be banned in other countries, as well as products that have been made with child labour

We are closely associated with the local community and 5% of profits from this website are used to sponsor competitors in the local kickboxing club as well as some junior members the local basketball team

We make some of the products featured here, namely native billums, baskets, some jewelry and stamp placemats. We also have a close relationship with our carvers and weavers and we can arrange to have items made to order. For more information please contact us
